A Real Plus for Students

It used to be that co-curriculars were a nice extra. While participation is still optional, co-curriculars are becoming more important than ever. That is because admissions criteria for post-secondary schools keeps evolving – it’s not just GPA and ACT/SAT test scores that matter anymore. It’s also about learning beyond the classroom. Colleges are placing emphasis on how involved students are outside class and in the community. Employers are also considering the value co-curriculars have in providing real-world experience and the leadership potential they give graduates who are entering the workforce.
